"Youth in Action” aims to inspire a sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union's future. It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU's borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the employability and inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural background.

 

Projects objectives:

  • Establishment of friendly contacts, creating a climate of mutual cooperation between the partners, and overcoming cultural stereotypes.

  • Expanding environmental awareness of participants gain skills towards pro-ecological behavior.

  • Enhancing motivation for the reception and transmission of knowledge about the current state of the environment, the existing natural resources, their protection and proper operation, and appropriate behavior in the environment.

  • Promoting the need for understanding of natural, cultural and social value for the environment, individual people and society in general.

  • Defining roles and responsibilities for all citizens for starting for present and future state of the environment.

  • Study threats that arise from over-exploitation of the environment and consumer lifestyle.

  • Awareness of youth that future of Europe depends on them.

Projects results:

  • spreading awareness on environmental problems and prospects for participating countries and EU in general;
