The aim of the study program "Advanced Mineral Resources Development" is the acquisition of knowledge and skills to develop sustainable and environmentally safe methods in mining and reclamation with the economic aspects. It is based on an international study on the three partner universities TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany), Montanuniversitaet Leoben (Austria) and National Mining University, Dnipro (Ukraine).
The program provides students with knowledge and skills for independent scientific work in the field of environmentally safe mining and reclamation with the economic aspects. The program combines natural sciences, engineering and economics. By the study at the three partner universities, the acquisition of intercultural competence is a key skill of the managing personnel in a global resource company promoted.
In the master's thesis, students will be able to show that they can collect and analyze information related to their field of competence, develop creatively and achieve a higher level of knowledge and skills in mining. The obtained scientific skills give you the opportunity to be a leader and solve complex problems. The students should take responsibility for their knowledge and activities to help address societal and global problems of mankind in terms of sustainability and environmental compatibility.
