Main Goal
Professional associations of advertisers and marketers that have adopted gender non-discriminatory advertising standards will create the Industrial Gender Committee on Advertising (IGCA) to promote these Standards in advertising and marketing practices and to monitor meeting gender non-discriminatory standards by professional associations.
Projects objectives:
1. Accomplishing activities to strengthen public participation in the development and implementation of public policies in the field of advertising and promotional activities, preventing the distribution of discriminatory practices in Ukraine.
2. Implementation of the standard of non-discriminatory advertizing on the basis of sex. The standard is supported by professional associations of marketing specialists and advertisers, the leading gender organizations and other associations which members are customers of advertizing.
3. Expertise of advertising on discrimination existence. Consideration of a complaint from citizens on discriminatory advertising. Providing the expert opinions according to the appeal of state bodies (Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine).
4. Assistance to the cessation of discriminatory advertising dissemination by the advertiser.
5. Organization and conducting information campaigns with the involvement of specialists in the relevant field of activity.
