The project is focused on building an inclusive society without discrimination, biases and isolation of youth forced to migrate because of war conflicts, economic and social obstacles and seeking adaptation in new community. How to find host community being a treasury of European values of understanding, tolerance, self-knowledge, integrity, support and multiculturalism is a key question of the dialogue.

The project aims at creating an atmosphere for friendly sharing initiatives, national visions and cultural traditions between Ukrainian and Polish youth. It is expected to stimulate participants’ civic growth in favorable multicultural environment through the non-formal educational method of theatre performance.

 

The objectives of the project:

1. To create a space for open, friendly, active communication on the topic of social adaptation of young migrants in the youth environment;

2. To provide the skills of constructive discussion conducting and self-presentation in the bicultural Ukrainian-Polish community;

3. To establish new Ukrainian-Polish contacts among young people for the development and implementation of other joint projects in the future;

4. To raise the level of youth awareness about the culture of Ukraine and Poland;

5. To help to overcome internal prejudices and stereotypes for migrants and find ways of their adaptation in the youth community;

6. To understand European values of inclusive society as the only direction of social development;

7. To develop identification skills and to overcome interpersonal conflicts that may arise among young people on the basis of multiculturalism.
